Journal Entry: Wed Oct 14, 2009, 11:00 AM

I'm so excited to have a sub again. It gives me lots to play with. =B I know, some ppl don't really care, but I enjoy having a sub. (= I was so excited to see my stamps in my journal again I could hardly stand it. *squeeeeeee!*

Since no one got my 7k kiriban, let's try it again. -.-; 7150k kiriban (or close to it) screenie gets you a bust sketch of your OC or a fanart.

Ooo ahhh ohhh !7k Kiriban!

:kitty: Hullooooo friends :kitty:

I am quite bored at the moment, servers are down for CO and I have no desire to do anything artistic so I will post a very random, meaningless journal.

Whoever in their right mind catches my 7000 kiriban (or close to it) gets a profile or bust sketch. Yay!

Mom got me this really nice, big sketch pad. Heavy, smooth toothed paper (close to Bristol Board but not as smooth)... bleeds a tad with certain pens but nothing drastic. I have a few pics in there but it looks like I will have to scan them in a section at a time or take pictures (which I really don't like doing with pics I've drawn).

/sigh
I'm so unmotivated! All I have to do is walk upstairs, scan things in and voila. Or rather turn on my camera and snap pics of the beading I'm doing.

I will stop supporting procrastination tomorrow

I had a very manic episode, took down most of my OCs and pics I didn't like... but now i like some of them again so I may repost more of them.

Working on a very late Bday gift for :icontheninjacat: :gummybear:

Ciao, I hope you are all doing quite well!

Nothing going on, just wanted to change my journal. No sub = no stamps, no thumbs, lots of ads. Bleh. Hate to say it but dA is boring without a sub... especially when you've had one.

Ciao

To my brother

Tue May 12, 2009, 12:03 PM
In memory of my little brother, age 28, who died suddenly of a heart attack April 20, 2009. Brian went to USF studying oceanography. He also volunteered at Clearwater Marine Aquarium, in Clearwater, FL, working primarily with the sea turtles. He also took part in the first prosthetic tail and rehabilitation for a dolphin whose name is Winter. He was an avid bike rider, loved to walk on the beach - built like a rock. At 6'2", he was called a "Gentle Giant." He could play the guitar with the best of them - total musical genius. He loved life, he loved nature, he was always there to help someone in need.
The Clearwater Marine Aquarium took us out on a boat to a quiet cove where they release the rehabilitated sea turtles. Some of his ashes were placed in a bio-degradable shell that was placed in the water where it slowly sank. It is a place he would love to be.

I took hundreds of pics when we went to Florida, and I'm still sorting them out. All that are posted will be in dedication to my brother. Proceeds from all print sales will be donated to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
